1977 Land Rover Restored Across the Pond, Then Shipped Stateside

This week’s featured car is a European make that also happens to have been restored and rebuilt overseas before being shipped to its owner all the way in the States. William Tucker’s 1977 Land Rover Series III was purchased in 2004 from Yorkshire, England.

But, before being shipped to the Tuckers, their Series III was restored by the Land Rover Centre, located in Huddersfield, England. The restoration was completed in January of 2005, and she was shipped off to the United States. The 1977 Land Rover has a steel frame and aluminum body. Plus, an 88-inch wheelbase with four-wheel drive, a Hi/Lo 4-speed transmission, and a 140 cubic inch gasoline engine.

The Tuckers are car show regulars and love to show off their Land Rover. Be sure to stop by Rolling Into Roanoke 2018: Across the Pond and check out this European green machine in person!
